Ø JAVA / J2EE Skills – Core Java, Servlets, JSP (Java Server Pages), EJB (Enterprise Java Beans)
Ø Web Frameworks / Technologies – JSF (Java Server Faces), Apache Struts, Spring MVC, AJAX
(Exposure to one MVC framework is mandatory)
Ø ORM (Object Relational Mapping) Frameworks – Hibernate, Java Persistence API (EJB 3)
(Exposure to one ORM framework is preferable)
Ø Design Patterns – J2EE design patterns and others.
Ø Database – Oracle, SQL Server, PL / SQL
(Oracle is required)
Ø Markup Languages – HTML, XML
Ø Modeling Language – UML (Unified Modeling Language)
Ø XML Data Binding Frameworks – JAXB (Java API for XML Binding), XML Beans
(Exposure to one Data Binding Framework is mandatory. Preferably JAXB)

ü Participate in project workshops with client and provide feedback on technical feasibility on new/ enhancement projects.
ü Architect technical solutions for the projects.
ü Coordinate with onsite client team on technical issues
ü Active involvement in decision with client for making architect solutions
ü Provide technical inputs to project team and client TA
ü Review technical design documents (TRS) and provide constructive feedback to project teams.
ü Provide technical support to project & SME teams.
ü Assist in improving development and support procedures ( e.g refining coding standards, code review checklist from time to time, preparing technical presentations, white papers etc)
ü Provide help and support during major release or implementation.
ü Review effort estimation for major enhancements
